Privacy Policy
PaperDo does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information. The app has no servers, no analytics, and no third-party software development kits. It never connects to the internet. This page explains what the app touches on your phone and why.
No accounts
PaperDo has no sign-in. It works with the Reminders data already on your iPhone under your Apple Account. We do not know who you are, and we have no way to find out.
What the app accesses on your phone
- Reminders. With your permission, PaperDo reads the lists and tasks you choose to print, and marks tasks complete when you confirm a scanned checkmark. It does not read lists you have not selected and does not copy Reminders data anywhere else.
- Camera. With your permission, PaperDo uses the camera to photograph a printed task sheet. The photo is analyzed in memory to find the sheet's code and checkmarks, then discarded.
- Photos and Files. Instead of the camera, you can pick a single existing image. PaperDo reads only the image you choose, through the system picker, and does not need or request access to your whole library.
What the app stores on your phone
- A small local database that records which tasks were printed on which sheet, so a scanned sheet can be matched back to the right tasks.
- Your preferences, such as which lists to print and how tasks are filtered.
- If a scan fails, you can choose to save a diagnostic copy of that one image on your phone to help troubleshoot. This is optional, stays on the device, is excluded from backups, and is never sent to us.
All of this is deleted when you delete the app.
iCloud
PaperDo does not use iCloud itself. If your Reminders sync through iCloud, Apple handles that sync under Apple's own privacy policy. PaperDo only changes tasks through the Reminders framework on your phone, and any change reaches your other devices the same way a change made in the Reminders app would.
Data we collect
None. On the App Store, PaperDo's privacy label is "Data Not Collected". We do not run analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or any network service.
Children
PaperDo is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app changes what it accesses or stores, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change. The version of the app you have installed is described by the policy in effect when it was released.
